As part of data gathering for ALISS, User Researcher Katherine produced a report of general user insights of the platform.

As part of our initial data gathering for ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) accessibility research, User Researcher Katherine Long has drawn up a report of general user insights taken from sources between February and July of 2021. The report covers topics such as awareness, access, and navigation of the ALISS platform.

The results were used to make recommendations for the future development of the ALISS platform, including:

  • Content refining and accessibility improvement
  • Further development of filters that will improve listings and access
  • Communication with local and national services to discuss collaborative knowledge exchange
