Mandy Andrew, Senior Programme Manager for International Centre for Integrated Care shares what self management means to her and the advice she would give her younger self…

If your friends could describe you in three words, what would they be?

Enthusiastic, motivated and creative

What is self management to you?

Opens the possibilities for a person to explore options they may wish to consider testing and incorporating into their life and care.

What piece of advice would you give your younger self?

There is a wide world out there – go and explore

What is the best thing about being a judge for the Self Management Awards?

The opportunity to hear and learn about the amazing people, projects, achievements and the impacts these bring.

What three people would you invite to a dinner party?

Dalai Lama, my daughter Hilary Andrew and Beth Kantor – not for profit networking.

What’s the biggest compliment you’ve ever received?

When people come back and say thank you for support. I am a coach and through this I also support people when they wish to progress their career and apply for new roles

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
