Integration in Action: Inclusive Leadership
- Type: Event
- Date: 11/06/2026 at 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Location: COSLA Conference Centre, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh EH12 5BH
This in person event will explore the difference compassionate leadership can make in health and social care.
Join the ALLIANCE and the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) Scotland on Thursday 11 June from 10:00am – 2pm at the COSLA Conference Centre in Edinburgh for the next event in our Integration in Action series. We’ll look at the factors that contribute to successful integration, including examples of good practice and ideas for the future, using the Academy’s Five Ambitions for the Future of Health and Care.
We can all be leaders in our own lives, communities and workplaces. This event will explore inclusive leadership as a key condition for building a rights based, person centred health and social care system.
We will bring people together to explore:
- Compassionate and relational leadership: trust, humility, listening, respect
- Leadership that challenges inequity
- Collaboration over authority
- Resourcing participation
This hands-on event invites you to engage in conversations about the role of inclusive leadership in health and social care through workshops and panel discussions. You’ll hear from speakers from different organisations highlighting examples of what inclusive leadership looks like in practice and explore what it means to you.
This event aims to inspire and empower – let’s start to think about the changes we can make when we do things differently.
Registration is free and includes refreshments and lunch. Please email integration@alliance-scotland.org.uk with your name and role, as well as any dietary and accessibility requirements.
