Easy read training

Join Disability Equality Scotland’s CPD-accredited course to learn about Easy Read and create an Easy Read document.
Our popular and successful Easy Read training takes place over 2 half-days.
We explore:
- what Easy Read is and why it is important
- how to use language in Easy Read
- how to use pictures in Easy Read
- how to format and publish Easy Read
There is a practical element to the training, and afterwards participants are invited to submit a short piece of work for feedback from our Easy Read experts.
The maximum group size for this training is 12 people.
The training is CPD-accredited (8 hours).
Here are all details relating to the sessions:
- Dates: Thursday 17 and Thursday 24 September 2026
- Times: 9.30am to 1.30pm on both dates
- Location: Online, using Zoom.
- Cost: £600 per person
