For anyone working in befriending services, meet with others and discover new ideas.
The Roadshow is an opportunity to be part of a peer learning, inspiring and solution packed gathering for all involved in befriending operations. Expect powerful conversations, real world examples and solutions, and a supportive network.
The 2026 Roadshow is co-hosted by Volunteer Glasgow and will focus on three essential topics shaping befriending services right now:
- How do we recruit and retain volunteers?
- How do we improve referrals?
- How do we protect our wellbeing?
This event is free and open to all. From attending this event you will gain:
- Fresh ideas from peers facing the same challenges
- Examples of good practice you can implement
- Five top tips from the team on each discussion theme
- New connections that strengthen your work and your confidence
