Find out more about this new class as well as upcoming dates for the University of Glasgow's BSL Conversation Cafés

Following the success of their BSL Conversation Cafés, the University of Glasgow is excited to introduce Puzzled Faces – a social group bringing together people who are Deaf or have hearing loss, hosted by qualified lipreading tutor, Jill Bradshaw. Jill is a lipreader who also uses BSL and speech.

The name “Puzzled Faces” comes from communication scenarios where we experience difficulty understanding what people are saying. The group aims to ease those situations with activities, chat and fun.

The group will run on the following dates:

  • Friday 22nd May, 1-3pm
  • Friday 19th June, 1-3pm

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided, everyone is welcome.

The University of Glasgow’s BSL conversation cafes are also running this term at both beginner and intermediate levels.

All classes take place in room 171 at Byres Community Hub on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 6th May, 11am-12pm Beginners and 12.30-1.30pm Intermediates
  • Wednesday 27th May 11am-12pm Beginners and 12.30-1.30pm Intermediates
