The ALLIANCE launches its new series on Courageous Leadership profiling leaders in health and social care in the third sector and beyond.
We launch our new series putting a spotlight on Courageous Leadership, highlighting the views of leaders in health and social care in the third sector and beyond. The new series, part of our Academy work, focuses on our key theme of Courageous Leadership delving into the thoughts and opinions of those in leadership roles across Scotland.
The series will not only focus on Chief Executives, it will also profile those showing leadership at all levels of organisations in order to share on a breadth of leadership styles and journeys.
Leadership qualities have come to the forefront during COVID-19 with those leading in all areas in health and social care forced to find new ways to lead in order to see their organisations adapt to the pandemic.
As part of the series we ask contributors for their thoughts on Courageous Leadership, the importance of authenticity in their role and what we need to see in terms of leadership in health and social care in Scotland going forward.
The pieces are thought provoking and inspiring reads sharing unique insights from some of Scotland’s most impactful health and social care leaders.
We launch the series this week with a piece from Rami Okasha, Chief Executive of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) who shares his views on what works in leadership, what has inspired his leadership journey and gives his views on the future of leadership in health and social care.
