How to get involved in the Third Sector Research Forum conference

Collaborating for Impact! The difference third sector and academic research partnerships can make.
Wednesday 9th October. Save the date! The Third Sector Research Forum conference (this link will take you away from our website) hits its 5th birthday with ‘Collaborating for Impact’ at COSLA, Edinburgh. It’ll be a packed day of discussion and activities showcasing the impact of Scottish third sector and academic research partnerships. If you’re keen to hear more about the difference that collaborative third sector research makes – on people, on policies, on ways of working together- then this is the event for you.
Because there’s so much great collaborative and participatory research going on throughout the third sector we’re running an open call for contributions (this link will take you away from our website) to the conference on the theme of impact. We’re very interested in co-presented inputs where the voices of the co-researchers can be heard. We’re also looking for different types of contribution: lightning talks, roundtable discussions, workshops and poster presentations. But what’s in it for you?
- Your research will reach a broad audience of third sector, academic researchers, policy makers and other people who use third sector evidence in their work.
- There’ll be opportunities to connect with people you might not usually meet during your day to day work – you might find your next research partner here!
- It’s a friendly, supportive environment that celebrates and champions third sector contribution to research evidence
