This report of the Moira Anderson Foundation's Positive Steps project has case studies and findings showing the value of self management.
The Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF) provides support for people who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse (CSA). We support adults, children and all genders. We work with victims and survivors of abuse and family members who have been affected by CSA.
Within MAF our Positive Steps Project offers support for adults experiencing long-term health conditions as a result of CSA. The services provided by this project focus on health improvement and self management. In the fourth year of this five year Lottery funded project we commissioned an external evaluation to establish that the funded objectives were being met and explore the future direction of the project.
We would like to share the findings as contained within the report are case studies and findings that demonstrate the value and benefits of self management. You can download the report in the link below.
