Maisie Peebles

Maisie works within the Digital Health and Social Care programme, leading on the Discover Digital project.

Maisie leads on the delivery of Discover Digital project, which helps people to understand and navigate digital tools and services that support health and wellbeing. 

As the Discover Digital Development Officer, Maisie’s key focuses include the following. 

• Supporting frontline workers to build knowledge, skills and confidence on health and wellbeing tools and resources. Frontline workers are then empowered to pass this learning onto the people they support. 
• Raising awareness of trusted digital apps, resources and websites related to health and wellbeing. So, people are empowered to make an informed decision and are more in control of their own health and wellbeing. 
• Managing the Digital Inclusion Peer Network. A group of professionals working within digital inclusion in Glasgow, the aim is to share learning, opportunities and increase collaboration. 
• Updating and developing online learning including the Discover Digital Guide and the #TryATool resource guide. 
• Supporting programme communications and event planning. 

Maisie is passionate about digital inlcusion, human rights and co-production. She was a trainee solicitor before joining the ALLIANCE and following her dream to work in the Third Sector and create positive change.
