Learn more about the work done by the Community Links Worker Programme.

The Community Links Worker Programme, initially funded by Scottish Government as a pilot, is a primarily a HSCP funded programme, funded by Primary Care Improvement Fund. In addition to this a small pilot project within food banks is funded via the Trussel Trust.

The programme is delivered by our Community Links Workers (CLW) within two locality areas, Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire. Glasgow has 86 participating GP practices. These GP practices are recognised as Deep End practices, which are a collaboration of the 100 general practices serving the most deprived populations in Scotland. Our Trussell CLW based in food banks within Glasgow covers the south of the city.

Our two SGN Energy Efficiency Outreach Workers (EEOW) cover Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire.

In West Dunbartonshire, five CLWs cover all 16 GPs practices covering the whole area from Clydebank to Alexandria.
