Learn more about the work done by the Community Links Worker Programme.

The Community Links Worker Programme, initially funded by Scottish Government as a pilot, is a primarily a HSCP funded programme, funded by Primary Care Improvement Fund. In addition to this a small pilot project within food banks is funded via the Trussel Trust.

The programme is delivered by our Community Links Workers (CLW) within 2 locality areas, Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire. Glasgow has 52 participating GP practices. These GP practices are recognised as Deep End practices, which are a collaboration of the 100 general practices serving the most deprived populations in Scotland. Our 2 Trussel trust CLWs based in food banks within Glasgow cover the North East and South of the city.

In West Dunbartonshire 10 CLWs cover all 16 GPs practices covering the whole area from Clydebank to Alexandria.
