Share your views before 19 February

Consumer Scotland has published its Draft Work Programme for 2026-27, setting out proposed priorities across key policy areas affecting consumer in Scotland. The draft highlights continued focus on levy-funded sectors including energy, heat networks, post and water, alongside wider markets such as telecommunications, housing, home improvements and financial services. 

Planned priorities include an investigation into Scotland’s used car market, further work to improve product recall systems, promoting the Consumer Duty to support public service reform and stregthening advice and support for consumers.  

Stakeholders and member of the public are invited to share their views through an online survey, which will help shape the final programme. The survey is open until Thursday 19 February. The final Work Programme will be published in March and laid before the Scottish Parliament.
