New online platform invites individuals and communities to shape Scotland’s path to net zero
To ensure people across Scotland have a voice in shaping the country’s path to net zero emissions, the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee has launched an online engagement platform where individuals and groups can share their views on the Scottish Government’s draft Climate Change Plan.
It provides a space for the public, including ALLIANCE individual members, to express their thoughts and ideas on how Scotland can achieve its net zero ambitions.
The engagement platform focuses discussion on four key themes:
- Accessibility of the Plan
- Transparency and accountability
- Community-led climate action
- Support for households to reach net zero
