Young people’s feedback will help NHS 24 better understand needs and improve support services

Young people aged 16-25 across Scotland are being encouraged to take part in an important new survey led by NHS 24, aimed at improving mental health support services.

The survey seeks to gather insights into how much young people know about NHS 24’s mental health services, as well as their experiences and perceptions. The findings will play a key role in shaping future improvements and ensuring services are more accessible and effective for those who need them.

This initiative forms a part of a wider effort to reduce health inequalities and support a key goal for 2025 – 2029: ensuring that young people experiencing mental ill health in Scotland have better awareness of and access to NHS 24 mental health services.

Importantly, the survey is open to all young people within the target age group – not just those currently experiencing mental health challenges. Participants can complete the survey themselves or have someone assist them.
