Welcome to #TryAToolTuesday

#TryAToolTuesday raises awareness of free and trusted apps and resources that help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing. This month we are excited to share four different apps, tools and resources:

  • Drugbot – an AI powered chat tool designed to help guide safer, more informed decisions around substance use, equipping people who use drugs with the knowledge they need to stay safe and make informed choices. More info and access here.
  • Peer Recovery Hub – from the Scottish Recovery Network, an online space with tools, events and opportunities to support you to champion peer support for mental health. More info here.
  • GoodSAM – a global app that alerts members of the public, who know how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), to a nearby cardiac arrest so that they can provide assistance. More info and sign up.
  • SilverCloud – free, structured programmes that support you to manage your health and wellbeing, including helping with low mood, stress, resilience and body positivity. More info and access via NHS Inform.

Tried one of these tools? Comment on this post or email at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you!
