Wednesday
The second podcast in our new series, Wellbeing Wednesday was released. The podcast is a guided exercise in colouring for meditation, provided by Aberdeen Foyer’s IMPACT project, one of the Self Management Fund projects. To take part in the colouring you need one coloured pen or pencil, a fresh colouring in page, and a quiet place where you can sit undisturbed.

Engender (this link will take you away from our website) are a feminist policy and advocacy organisation working in Scotland. Their mission is to integrate women’s equalities and rights into the work and policies of parliament and Scottish Government. They work across three broad themes: women’s economic equality, women’s social and cultural equality and women’s political equality.
On Thursday the organisation also broadcast an ALLIANCE Live interview with Chief Social Work Advisor and Interim Director for Children and Families at the Scottish Government, Iona Colvin.
The conversation with ALLIANCE Associate Director Ronnie Hill highlighted the importance of the third sector in supporting children, young people and families and the Scottish Government’s commitment to support for the third sector through Covid-19. During the interview, Iona Colvin answered questions which were passed to the ALLIANCE from children and young people, and other third sector colleagues.
