Glasgow Science Festival returns for its 18th year, celebrating how research is transforming our lives, our cities, and our futures. Their packed programme of over 150 events will appear in 40+ venues across the city. Almost all events are free.
The principal aim of the festival is to showcase the outstanding contribution Glasgow and Glasgow based researchers make to the worlds of science, technology, engineering, art, maths and social science. They do this by developing content with researcher staff and students and by working with dozens of partners to produce a varied programme of activity featuring high quality events and innovative delivery styles.
Some events include:
- Glasgow Science Festival: Museum of Anatomy Showcase, 6 June, 12-3pm
- Glasgow Science Festival: Body Donation, 6 June, 3-4pm
- Bodies of Knowledge: A Science & Circus Cabaret, 8 June, 6-7pm
- Hospital Again?! What are my Choices?, 13 June, 6-7:45pm
