Cost of Living – ALLIANCE activity so far
The cost of living crisis is continuing to have a serious impact on people’s lives, especially disabled people, people living with long term conditions, and unpaid carers. In this video, Allan Faulds (Policy Officer) and Jane Miller (Academy Programme Manager) outline the work the ALLIANCE has done so far: what we heard from our members to inform our report on the crisis, suggestions for immediate support, and recommendations for longer term change to address the root causes.

Equally Valued – Revisiting the impact of the fuel crisis
In this episode of Equally Valued, we will be speaking with colleagues from the third sector, academia and individuals with lived experience around fuel poverty. In April 2022, individuals and families across the country were set to be affected with it hitting our society’s most vulnerable the hardest.
In the midst of winter, we considered the current situation for people in Scotland who are struggling to heat their homes and the impact on their health and wellbeing. We look at the actions and support delivered by Government and what more could and should be done.
