Have your say on the ALLIANCE's response to the Long Term Conditions Framework consultation.

The Scottish Government have opened the public consultation for the Long Term Conditions Framework. The ALLIANCE will be responding to the consultation on behalf of it’s members. We want to hear from you what you think should be included within our response to the Scottish Government.

Currently, Scotland does not have a unified policy to improve care and support across long term conditions, despite many people facing similar challenges and requiring comparable types of care.

With one in four people living with more than one condition and disease burden increasing, the approach must evolve to meet the needs of an ageing population and tackle existing health inequalities.

To address this, Scottish Government are considering a framework that ensures equitable and sustainable access to essential services while still allowing for targeted action on condition-specific care and support.

Please add any comments, thoughts or feedback that you have on the Long Term Conditions Framework to the form below.

The closing date for the consultation is the 20 July 2025.
