In collaboration with Children's Health Scotland, we have published a podcast discussing their children's health rights charter.
To celebrate the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) becoming Scots Law earlier this year on 16 July 2024, Children’s Health Scotland have launched a brand new My Health, My Rights Charter. This Charter has been created by children and young people living with health conditions in Scotland for children and young people.
As part of International Human Rights Day on 10 December, we are proud to contribute to the conversation with a special ALLIANCE Live podcast episode which discusses this charter. The episode delves into the importance of empowering young voices and championing their rights.
The podcast features a discussion on Children’s Health Scotland’s “My Health, My Rights” Charter, which aims to ensure children and young people understand and can advocate for their health rights. The episode highlights the remarkable progress made and the work still needed to ensure that every child enjoys dignity, safety, and opportunity.
Learn more about their charter here.
Join us on 10 December to celebrate this momentous day and amplify the voices of the next generation. Together, let’s shine a light on children’s health rights and their critical role in shaping a brighter future. Listen to the podcast on Spotify.
