Dedicated to supporting disabled young people aged 16–25 achieve positive futures.
Create Your Dream SCIO (CYD) is a Scottish charity dedicated to supporting disabled young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, improve wellbeing and achieve positive futures. Through their person-led Personal Wellbeing Coaching and Planning service, they work alongside each young person to understand their strengths, aspirations and ambitions, helping them overcome barriers and develop the skills, confidence and resilience to make informed choices about education, employment, training, independent living and community life. Create Your Dream believes every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive and committed to delivering support that is compassionate, inclusive and tailored to the individual.
CYD also provides Financial Wellbeing Coaching for parents and carers, recognising that supporting the whole family creates better outcomes for young people. By working collaboratively with families, statutory services, education providers and third sector organisations, they deliver joined-up, personalised support that empowers people to achieve their goals. Our values are rooted in respect, inclusion, partnership and the belief that every young person has unique strengths and the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
