A Fife charity is celebrating 160 years of helping people with Visual Impairment

Seescape was founded in 1865 as the Fife and Kinross Society for Teaching the Blind to Read in Their Own Homes. It now supports more than 3,500 people across the region every year, and counts former Prime Minister and Dunfermline MP Gordon Brown, and paralympic climber Garry Morrison among those it has supported.

The charity has grown steadily over the years and now helps people who are blind or have Visual Impairment live independent, full lives through rehabilitation, advice, and support with assistive technology.
