The Digital Poverty Alliance is conducting a UK-wide Inquiry on the impact of digital exclusion on health

The Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA) is conducting a UK-wide Inquiry into how digital exclusion impacts access to health services and contributes to health inequalities.

Digital exclusion can happen for many reasons—such as lack of access to devices, poor connectivity, or limited digital skills—and we know these barriers affect people in different ways across the UK.

DPA wants to hear patient/service users’ experiences and perspectives. Your insights will help the DPA to understand the unique challenges people in Scotland face when accessing online health services and how these differ between the devolved nations.

Your input will inform a 2026 report to the UK Government, shaping recommendations to make health services more inclusive and accessible for everyone. The DPA will feedback developments to Scottish participants through the ALLIANCE engagement channels later in the year.

Please take the survey by Friday 16 January.
