Discover the digital events planned for 'My Wellbeing, My Life' Self Management Week 2020 (28 September – 2 October).
This year’s Self Management Week runs from 28 September – 2 October and is themed ‘My Wellbeing, My Life’. Self Management Week, which is in its tenth year, recognises and celebrates self management approaches happening across Scotland, raises awareness across health, social care and the third sector, and engages people to think about how self management can support their health and wellbeing.
Based on feedback from Self Management Network Scotland members and our wider networks, a busy and engaging schedule of events has been developed for the week. Find out more below:
23 September: Self management stories workshop
Creating the opportunity to share stories of self management has been identified as an important part of Self Management Week. This session will be held in advance of the week to support people to think about why they might want to share their personal experiences and practical support on how to shape their story as part of Self Management Week.
29 September: Self management in the time of COVID-19
This digital discussion event will explore people’s experiences of self managing during COVID-19, what we have learned and what we want to take with us going forward.
29 September: Self Management Awards

Hear about the principles of self management and the key policy drivers which are placing self management as an important part of the health and social care agenda. There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A with Graham Kramer.
