Help build a new NHS Scotland system to enable people to share how they feel and how treatment affects their life
NHS Scotland is building a new digital system to help people who access their services tell their healthcare team how they feel and how their treatment is going.
These pieces of information are called “Patient Reported Outcome Measures” or PROMs.
Why is this important?
- This system will help you share your feelings and get the right care. It will also help healthcare teams make things better for everyone.
- It will help your healthcare team find out quickly if something is wrong or if there are side effects from a treatment.
- It will help you take care of your own health and feel more in control.
- It will make it easier for you to talk with your healthcare team about what is working and what needs to change.
NHS Scotland are looking for volunteers to attend a 1-hour focus group (in-person or online) to discuss what you think of the proposals for this new system.
If you are interested in participating in a focus group, please complete this short form with your availability.
If you are unable to complete the form, or if you have any questions, please contact his.decisionsupport@nhs.scot
