The ALLIANCE and Scottish Government have produced several resources on premenstrual syndrome, in support of the Women's Health Plan.
Changes in your body’s hormone levels before your period can cause physical and emotional changes. This is often known as Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). PMS is a very common experience, but symptoms can vary from person to person. For some people, symptoms of PMS are so severe that it impacts everyday life. See NHS Inform for more details.
To support better awareness of PMS, and point people in the direction of tips, tools and sources of support that can help them manage symptoms, the ALLIANCE and Scottish Government have produced several resources.

This webinars focuses on PMS to explain why it happens, about common symptoms and how to manage them. It provides people with practical advice on how to be aware of PMS in their own life, and how to talk about their experiences and raise concerns with others, and manage the tricky emotional symptoms.
