Free event for family carers to chat through postural care.

Come along for a coffee chat with Carolynne Hunter (PAMIS Project Lead) and friendly parent and carer Jenny Whinnett as they share the importance of finding out about postural care.

Where postural care isn’t part of a 24 hour day, someome with movement difficulties may experience changes in their body shape which can lead to pain and discomfort with sitting and lying positions, chest and breathing problems and may lead to the need for surgery.

Having knowledge to put in place 24 hour postural care can improve comfort, reduce pain and increase the quality of life of someone with movement difficulties.
