ALISS has undergone some changes to improve accessibility and user experience. And, you can now subscribe to the ALISS newsletter too!
The ALISS team are always working to make the website better based on user feedback. One of the latest updates is all about improving communication, accessibility, and user experience. Here is what’s new:
The ALISS newsletter
You can now sign up to receive updates from ALISS directly in your inbox. You can subscribe by scrolling to the bottom of the ALISS homepage and entering your email address. This way, you can stay in the loop about new features, spotlighted services and organisations, and ways to get involved!

Better search results
We have enhanced the search functionality to show more relevant services, especially when searching for specific topics like ‘Long Covid’ or ‘Stop Smoking’.
Sign-up improvements
We have made the sign-up process for new users more user-friendly by removing the policy viewer pop-up. Instead, the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are now accessible via links that take you to a separate page.
Show/hide button for passwords
As part of our ongoing accessibility updates, we have now added a show/hide button to password fields. This allows users to track and confirm what they have entered and reduces the likelihood of login errors.
These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to making ALISS an accessible and easy-to-use tool for everyone. Whether you are searching for support for yourself or others, we hope that these updates will help you make the most of ALISS.
If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with the ALISS team at hello@aliss.org and don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter!
