Share your insights and experiences as an unpaid carer on accessing and using short break services in Scotland.

With a new ‘right to a break’ in development, it has never been more important to put carers voices at the heart of decision-making. That’s why Shared Care Scotland, the national carer organisation with short breaks and respite at its core, is undertaking a comprehensive survey on unpaid carers’ experiences of short breaks and respite services in Scotland.

Their work is focused on ensuring carers and the people they care for have access to regular, meaningful breaks that work for them. Their survey will help them understand what matters to most to carers so they can best represent them in their work. Your valuable feedback in the survey will contribute to help inform their work on future policies, and on the proposed Right to A Break legislation.

The survey consists mainly of multiple-choice questions and should take no longer than 25 minutes to complete. You can complete the survey online here.

The survey closes on 31 July 2024.
