The Scottish Government is improving community health and social care support in Scotland.
A report has been published following the National Care Service (NCS) National Forum 2023, which took place at the Glasgow Science Centre on 30 October 2023.
The report provides a brief overview of the NCS and the purpose of the annual National Forum and also summarises the programme for the day, including information on where to view the speeches. The report concludes by outlining the next steps for co-design of the National Care Service.
The Scottish Government remains committed to delivering a National Care Service that has people at the heart of its development, to ensure that it delivers the positive change needed for people and makes the best use of public funds.
The report has been prepared in plain English and is also available as an easy read, with a summary version available in BSL and audio.
As part of the Scottish Governments ongoing commitment to providing feedback on the co-design process, a report of the three regional events that took place in autumn in Edinburgh, Hawick and Aberdeen has also been published today and is available at www.gov.scot/ncs
