The ALLIANCE wants to hear from you if you have experienced barriers to accessing Self-Directed Support.

Following our My Support, My Choice work, we want to explore a bit deeper into any issues related to access to Self-directed Support (SDS) that have been highlighted to us.

We are particularly interested in hearing from our members and people with lived experience of SDS in the past year who may have come across:

  • Care packages being reassessed or reviewed
  • Cuts in packages
  • Caps to payment amounts or support
  • Pre-determined decisions

We are interested to hear if these situations seem to be happening more often in the past year.

If you would like to share anything, please complete and submit the short poll below. Feel free to provide us with any examples you might have too. Any data you enter will only be used to inform our response, in line with the ALLIANCE’s privacy policy

Please email the Policy Team at policy@alliance-scotland.org.uk if you want to make any detailed points, have any questions or have trouble completing the form.
