Are you a health professional or have lost a loved one to SCD? We need your insights in our surveys to improve care pathways.
The ALLIANCE, in partnership with the West of Scotland Inherited Cardiac Conditions Service, have launched two surveys as part of our ongoing project to improve timely access to investigation, clinical care, and psychological support for families in Scotland affected by sudden unexpected death (SUD) or sudden cardiac death (SCD).
Family Survey: This survey will help us to better understand how the experience of losing a family member or a loved one to Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) has impacted different aspects of your life, as well as your experiences with different services. Your participation will greatly contribute to improving the pathway for everyone, including survivors, families, and the workforce. Please note, only complete this survey if you have lost a family member or spouse/partner to sudden cardiac death, and received care/support in Scotland.
You can complete the family survey here.
Workforce Survey: This survey aims to establish the awareness and capacity of health and social care professionals regarding Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) and out of hospital cardiac arrest (OOHCA). Your insights on the existing clinical pathway, emotional capacity, resilience when dealing with cases of unexplained or sudden cardiac deaths, and training needs will be invaluable. Please note, only complete this survey if you have ever been involved in supporting a case of out of hospital cardiac arrest (either where the individual has survived, or where they have died), or supported an individual/family affected by sudden cardiac death.
You can complete the workforce survey here.
Your participation is greatly appreciated and will help us to improve the pathways, providing better care for families and better support for health and social care professionals. Thank you for your time and contribution.
