Find out more about Peace of Mind, a programme which supports disabled people at risk of social exclusion to re-engage with their community.
Peace of Mind is dedicated to supporting individuals at risk of social exclusion or loneliness due to disability, impairment, or long-term health conditions.
Rather than focusing on diagnoses, the organisation matches people based on shared outcomes and interests, promoting meaningful connections and experiences. Tailored programmes include building independent living skills, such as budgeting, healthy cooking, and accessing community spaces like gyms, museums, and art galleries.
Open to all, Peace of Mind welcomes individuals regardless of whether they receive statutory services, championing inclusion and personal growth across communities.
If you think you would benefit from being a part of this programme, you can visit their website to find out more.
Alternatively, contact Jim on 07824727694 or email jim@peaceofmind.scot to find more about how they can assist individuals to become more integrated into their local community and beyond.
