This week the Digital Hub celebrates ‘Get Online Week’ which is Good Things Foundation's annual digital inclusion campaign.
The ALLIANCE is part of the Good Things Foundation UK network, supporting in their mission to ‘help everyone become digitally equal, able and safe, so they can be happier, healthier and better off.’
They are the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity and their commitment to sharing learning and good practice, working collaboratively and delivering person centred outcomes for digital inclusion matches the ethos of the Digital Health and Social Care Programme.
This week we are delighted to be able to highlight the campaign and celebrate our ALLIANCE activity which plays a role in the wider, national context of digital inclusion.
- Tuesday 21October– we will be hosting our annual digital hub event, ‘DiGiTal Get Together: How to stay human rights focussed in a digital Scotland’ at the Radisson Blu, Glasgow
- Wednesday 22 October– we will share our revisited and revised Digital Health and Social Care Human Rights Principles online, which have been coproduced and supported by Vox Scotland and Scottish Care. Read here.
- Thursday 23 October– Maisie Peebles, Discover Digital Development Officer will share her opinions and learning on tackling the digital exclusion problem. Read here.
- Friday 24th October– Check out our news, events page and social media to see our up-and-coming activity for DigiKnowVember, as we continue to strive towards digital inclusion.
Digital inclusion is the driver to our Discover Digital project and is a theme which cuts across all of our Digital Health and Social Care programme activity, including our Digital Citizen Panel. There is lots of ways you can get involved with the team, our monthly digital bulletin, ‘Digital Digest’ is also an excellent way to stay informed.
