In person leadership events exploring compassionate leadership, system working and positive workplace cultures in health and social care.
Leading to Change is a national leadership development programme that supports people working across health and social care in Scotland. In partnership with the Institute of Health and Social Care Management, Leading to Change is delivering two in person leadership events in March 2026.
The sessions are aimed at people working in health and social care who want to strengthen their leadership practice and build compassionate and effective workplace cultures. The events will explore leadership in complex systems, compassionate leadership, positive conflict and working across organisational boundaries.
The first event takes place on Tuesday 10 March 2026 and focuses on why compassionate leadership matters, how it improves performance and how to create compassionate workplaces. The second event takes place on Wednesday 11 March 2026 and explores system leadership, influencing across services and developing positive approaches to conflict.
Both events will be held at NHS Education for Scotland, 102 West Port, Edinburgh. Attendees can choose to attend one or both days and certificates will be provided. Refreshments will be available and lunch can be purchased locally.
The registration for the first event is through this form. The second event can be registered through here.
