Join a leadership workshop in Inverness to explore kindness, listening and what matters most in care and support.

Working in partnership, the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE), Public Services Delivery Scotland, Scottish Care and Fife HSCP are delighted to host a national leadership session for colleagues across social work, social care, health, and the third, independent and voluntary sectors. The workshop provides a dedicated space for shared learning, reflection and connection.

At the heart of the session is a simple but powerful question: ‘What matters to you?’ Participants will explore how this question can shape leadership, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes across services.

The session will be hosted by:

· Tommy Whitelaw – National Lead, Person Centred Voices, the ALLIANCE

· Susan Nevill – Social Work and Social Care Lead, Leading to Change, Public Services Delivery Scotland

· Diane Roth – Organisational Development and Culture Specialist, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership

· Gwen Harrison – Independent Sector Lead Highland, Scottish Care

The key themes that will be covered are:

· Intelligent kindness and the power of empathy in action

· The ‘What Matters to You?’ approach, and how we can understand people’s values and priorities

· How to foster respectful, collaborative cultures

· Self-care, and sustaining ourselves to better support others
