Social reminiscence memory group
Join Open Museums at Partick Library for a Memories Scotland session - part of West Fest’s Dementia Festival.
Memories Scotland invite you to come and share memories of the past – whether you grew up near Partick or further away.
Have a hot drink, a chat and share your memories with our group.
Attendees will have the opportunity to handle a variety of real museum objects from two handling kits on the topics of Tenement Life and the 1950s. These include period-original garments, ceramics you would find in a tenement home, and a classic 50s rotary phone.
Everyone is welcome, wherever you’re from and however you’re feeling. You can bring someone with you or just bring yourself.

If you can’t attend this event on the 19th of June, group sessions will take place every third Friday of the month, 11am – 12pm thereafter. No booking is required, just come along.
