ALLIANCE women’s health autumn event programme

The ALLIANCE is hosting several events across September – November in support of the Scottish Government Women’s Health Plan.
The ALLIANCE is currently delivering a programme of work to support the Scottish Government’s Women’s Health Plan. This involves raising awareness about women’s health experiences across the life course and promoting positive discussion that demystifies and destigmatises.
Join us through September, October and November at one of our events focused on women’s health and priorities.
Each event is being delivered in partnership with Scottish Government or other public/third sector partners, and will involve expert clinicians, practitioners or lived experience.
You can view and download a PDF of our event brochure here: https://www.alliance-scotland.org.uk/blog/resources/womens-health-autumn-event-programme/
Or see below for our each individual event listing:
(2 SEPT) Prioritising pelvic health – WEBINAR
(4 SEPT) Lived Experience Stakeholder Group
(CANCELLED) Conversation Café for women’s health: peer support and supportive discussion
(9 OCT) Conversation Café toolkit – Info and Facilitation support
(17 OCT) World Menopause Day webinar
(7 NOV) Understanding reproductive health with University of Glasgow
Each event has it’s own registration link, as well as details about accessibility.
Any questions or accessibility requests can be directed to whp@alliance-scotland.org.uk
These events continue our work on women’s health, delivered alongside the Scottish Government. You can access recordings of previous online events here, as well as our resources.
As the programme is delivered nationally, many of these events are online. Alongside the public event programme the ALLIANCE is also working with third sector partners and community groups to deliver targeted local information sessions, in-person and with specific groups across the country.
Notes
The Women’s Health Plan and the ALLIANCE’s programme uses the term ‘women/woman’ throughout but it is important to highlight that it is not only those who identify as women who require access to women’s health and reproductive services. All healthcare services should be respectful and responsive to individual needs, and all should have access to clear information that supports their health.
