Can AI Represent Care?: Event series around care, image and technology
- Area of Work: The ALLIANCE
- Type: News Item
- Published: 23rd October 2024

The series is being held as part of the Festival of Social Science and Being Human Festival this year.
Join the University of Edinburgh Advanced Care Research Centre for an eye-opening exhibition featuring images of care created by older adults and generated by AI. Reflect on your own understanding of care and the role of technology in shaping our perceptions of care, ageing, and images. Along with the exhibition, there is the opportunity to join an interactive workshop to create your own images of care using AI, and a sharing event where the powerful stories behind the exhibition will be discussed.
The exhibition and workshop will be held at Inspace, 1 Crichton Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9AB.

The exhibition will be held from 4 November to 10 November from 10am to 5pm and you are free to drop-in.
