Have your say on the Scottish Government’s consultation on achieving value and sustainability in prescribing medication.
The Scottish Government is seeking input on how to make prescribing more effective and sustainable.
There is variation in prescribing of medications across NHS Scotland. This can include items that may have low or limited effectiveness, safety concerns, or provide low value for money for NHS Scotland where there are more cost-effective items available. This can also include instances of antibiotics being prescribed unnecessarily or for longer than the recommended duration, increasing antimicrobial resistance.
The Scottish Government are inviting you to take part in their short survey to share your experiences and priorities to using prescription services. Your feedback provided in the survey link below will help inform the Scottish Governments response to the consultation.
The deadline to submit your response is Sunday 15 September.
