After hearing from over 12,500 people, Let's Be Heard are now taking the time to analyse these experiences to help inform the Inquiry.

Let’s Be Heard would like to take the time to thank all the organisations, schools, charities, and community groups across Scotland which helped support our work.

Let’s Be Heard was the main way for everyone to share their experience of the pandemic with the Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry. Whether it was helping raise awareness, or organising a group discussion, they would not have had the privilege of hearing so many experiences without your support.

The ALLIANCE has welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with Let’s Be Heard on multiple occasions, including through our joint research with Engender on experiences of pregnancy and maternity services in Scotland during COVID-19, sharing engagement opportunities, highlighting feedback opportunities and publishing their reports.

From May 2023 to November 2024, they heard from more than 12,500 people from every local authority in Scotland. The team are now taking the time to analyse these experiences to help inform the Inquiry’s investigations and recommendations to Scottish Ministers.

Two reports have been published so far, our preliminary findings and a case study on the voices of prisoners. If you would like to be informed of future reports, you can sign up for alerts.

For a snapshot of what you helped Let’s Be Heard achieve, please take a look at the engagement summary infographic, which you are welcome to share. You can also find more detailed information on the Let’s Be Heard section of the Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry website.

Together we can ensure the voices of Scotland are heard and that lessons are learned for the future.
