The Discover Digital project has launched free learning opportunities on digital health and social care.
The Discover Digital project aims to raise awareness of digital tools that can support your health and wellbeing.
In 2021 the project published the Discover Digital Guide, which offers an introduction to the idea of digital health and social care. The resource covers digital self management, digital NHS services and technology enabled care.
The new learning materials include an Open Badge and an Open University Course based on the Discover Digital Guide.
Open University Course
The Course was created on the Open University Platform, Open Learn Create. It offers interactive learning, including videos, quizzes and signposting to other resources.
It is an excellent way to improve your understanding on what is available in digital health and social care and the benefits it can bring.
The Course is for everyone! Whether you want to increase knowledge for your own wellbeing or for that of someone you support.
Access the Course here.
Open Badge
Earn reward and recognition from your learning with our Discover Digital Open Badge. The Badge was created in partnership with the Scottish Social Services Council.
It is perfect for people working in social care who are looking to build knowledge and confidence in digital health and social care.
To earn the Badge, you must read the Discover Digital Guide and watch a seven-minute video. The materials and further information can be accessed here.
