Find out more about two accredited courses ran by Nutrition Scotland on diet, health, and wellbeing.
Nutrition Scotland are offering two face-to-face training courses on nutrition for health.
This training would be particularly beneficial to those working in the third sector, including community groups, charities, and social enterprises that support individuals facing food insecurity, health inequalities, or other challenges related to nutrition and food work. The training is delivered by qualified public health nutritionists and benefits from in-person delivery.
RSPH Nutrition For Health Level 2 – Class-based Training
2-day accredited nutrition course in Glasgow
This course explores the vital connection between diet, health and wellbeing. You’ll gain a solid understanding of the nutrients our bodies need, how to read and interpret food labels, and the many factors that influence food choices. Perfect for those working as health trainers, other health professionals and staff in a range of public services as well as community organisations working with food. This is an accredited qualification at National 5 learning level (SCQF 5).
Dates: 19 and 26 August 2025
Time: 9am-5pm

RSPH Nutrition for Health Level 3 – Class-based Training
3-day accredited nutrition course in Glasgow
This course offers a deeper understanding of what makes a healthy, balanced diet and how to apply that knowledge in practical ways. It covers menu planning and adapting menus and diets to suit different needs and guidelines. Perfect for those working in catering, hospitality, care or leisure industries as well as health professionals and community organisations working with food. This is an accredited qualification at Higher learning level (SCQF 6).
Dates: 16, 23, and 30 July 2025
Time: 9am-5pm
