A Human Rights Bill for Scotland: Updates and Events

Additional materials have been published to enhance accessibility and support engagement for the Human Rights Bill Consultation.
The Scottish Government published its consultation on proposals for a new Human Rights Bill for Scotland on 15th June. They have now published additional materials to enhance accessibility and support engagement.
These include:
- A facilitator’s guide for those who wish to host their own consultation events.
- A child-friendly version of the consultation published by Together.
- A Gaelic version of the full consultation and the short guide.
The Scottish Government have also announced a number of consultation events being held throughout Scotland. The purpose of these events is to allow people to learn about the Scottish Government’s proposals and to tell them what they think to help inform how the Bill is developed.
