Join our Children and Young People Community of Practice for new learning and opportunities to connect and share.

We’re delighted to launch the Children and Young People Community of Practice autumn events calendar, bringing together an exciting programme of learning, discussion and networking opportunities for members.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring together a fantastic range of speakers and contributors who will share new perspectives, practical learning and insights from their work. We’re excited to offer a varied programme that creates opportunities for members to learn from others, share experiences and connect with colleagues across the sector.

This autumn’s programme includes:

  • GIRFEC and Wellbeing Event an opportunity to explore wellbeing and GIRFEC, hear from others working across the sector and reflect on what this means for children, young people and families.
  • Funding Training a practical session designed to support members to build their knowledge and confidence around funding opportunities and applications.
  • Children’s Rights and AI Event exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, with a focus on children’s rights

We’ve designed the events in different formats and lengths to help make the programme as inclusive and accessible as possible for our Community of Practice members. Whether you’re looking to develop your skills, explore a new area of learning or simply connect with others, there should be something for everyone.

You can find more information about each event by clicking on the event title above. All events are free and open to Community of Practice members, and you can choose to attend the full programme or register for individual events.

To register for any of the events, please email GIRFEC@alliance-scotland.org.uk.
