ALISS announce their three year strategic plan.
The ALLIANCE’s ALISS team are pleased to announce the programme’s strategic objectives for the coming three years.
ALISS – A Local Information System for Scotland – www.aliss.org (this link will take you away from our website) – has the vision that everyone in Scotland can access the information they need to help them live well. ALISS provides a searchable web-based information platform, allowing users to find relevant local and national services, groups, activities, and resources.
ALISS Programme Manager Chris Mackie said:
“Following a period of consultation, we have arrived at four simple areas that we will focus on. These are – more data, better data, better experience, and more users.
“We want to:
- Increase the amount of information that people can access through ALISS
- Improve the quality of data hosted on ALISS
- Improve the experiences of people accessing information through ALISS
- Increase the number of people who access ALISS information
“This will enable more people to more easily access information about services, groups, activities and resources that will help them keep well.
“We look forward to continuing the improvement of ALISS over the coming years.”
