Have you been affected by cancer? Come and voice your opinion at our Transforming Cancer Care Lived Experience Focus Groups.

The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) are working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to transform cancer care services in Scotland. The ALLIANCE want to make sure that any changes that take place in cancer services, are informed by the experience of people affected by cancer.

We are holding a series of focus groups to gather information about experiences of accessing cancer services in Scotland. We want to know what worked well and what could be done differently. Most importantly, we want to make sure that cancer services meet your needs.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who are living with, or who have been affected by cancer through someone they know, love or have cared for. We would prefer if your experience was in the last five years to reflect current cancer care services.

We would like to invite you to take part in a small group discussion with around six other people. The discussion should last no longer than 90 minutes. Taking part is entirely voluntary.

How can you get involved

If you are interested, or just want to find out more, we would be delighted to hear from you by email or phone.

Contact Sarah Dick, Macmillan Lived Experience Development Officer at the ALLIANCE, by email to macmillan@alliance-scotland.org.uk. Or call 0141 404 0231 to leave your contact details and Sarah will call you back.
