Technology Enhanced Learning - Train the Trainer programme applications now open.
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) (this link will take you away from our website) will be funding two cohorts of Technology Enhanced Learning – Train the Trainer.
About the programme
The programme will be delivered by University of Highland and Islands (this link will take you away from our website) and is aimed at those who are working in learning and development roles in health, care and third sector who have an interest in delivering digital learning solutions; a passion to increase the use of technology for the benefit learners and determination to develop their digital skills.
Programme structure
Designed to combine core digital learning content within 4 virtual workshops, the programme requires 20 hours of learning over 9 weeks and participants must commit to attending the workshop sessions on the dates below:
- Session 1 Thursday 19th May 2022 10am – 12:30pm
- Session 3 Friday 10th June 2022 10am – 11am
- Session 3 Thursday 30th June 2022 10am – 11am
- Session 4 Thursday 21st July 2022 10am – 11am
Train the Trainer Programme is an introductory level programme which will give health and care staff, who design and deliver training, the opportunity to experience the course from the view of the learner and to be able to deliver the programme themselves to colleagues.
Application process
Applications are welcome from employees within NHS Scotland, social care and the third sector, who are in a Learning and Development role and working to upskill digital skills within their organisation or across the sector.
To apply for this programme, please complete the application form attached and return by email to nes.dew@nhs.scot. Applications will close at 12pm on 02 May 2022.
