The ALLIANCE Annual Conference will take place online over the week of 7 – 11 September 2020.
We are delighted to announce that the ALLIANCE Annual Conference will take place online over the week of 7 – 11 September 2020.
This year’s week-long conference will include contributions from high profile keynote speakers, interactive workshops and webinars, creative sessions, film screenings and more. Participants will be able to follow the whole event online – more details will be published soon on the ALLIANCE website.
The conference will of course address the current COVID-19 pandemic, but is also aimed at looking to the future vision for health and social care in Scotland. Themes will include ways of anticipating the care that will be needed in the future, longer term prevention, how people can live independently, and be at the centre of health and social care decisions.
We will also explore how health and social care support and services can achieve good outcomes, and how people and organisations can work together to share ideas and make real, lasting and positive differences.
The ALLIANCE’s annual conference makes an important contribution to the integration of health and social care in Scotland. It provides an opportunity for people and organisations to take part in discussions that focus on finding solutions, protecting people’s rights and involving people in decision making.
